The solar eclipse
It is one day until the solar eclipse happens (I have been counting down since last month) and I can't wait until tomorrow. First, I set my alarm at 6 am and I had to get my solar eclipse glasses. So that night, I put all my supplies on the table but the next morning my glasses were gone!
I looked everywhere but then I saw my dog Ruffy and the dog was wearing glasses. I tried to get him but he ran away, luckily I found him and we were able to watch the solar eclipse together.
A very creative story and a great way to tie in a dog wearing glasses. The ending really wrapped up your story as you watched the eclipse together. I can tell you have taken time and put in the effort on your punctuation and it pays off.
ReplyDeleteGreat response to the 100WC with a topical and feasible idea. You've used a great range of punctuation including apostrophes for contractions and your ideas are linked well making a clear, easy to read story. Well done from Miss Nicholson Team 100WC
